We launched illustrations
It’s been an incredibly rewarding process to work on the Illustrations product. There is always a special feeling when launching something consumer-facing and visually pleasing. And that’s exactly how I feel about the illustrations launch.

A bit of a back story
Over the past couple of years, we noticed that people came to Iconfinder searching for not only icons. They came looking for means to bring life to their product pages, presentations, or marketing content with high-quality imagery.
This summer, the team enrolled on a journey to adjust the marketplace to fit this need. We launched a beta version of the illustrations page in July and used it as a tool to collect customer input.
In the meantime, we reached out to the most talented illustrators out there and encouraged them to upload their content.
Quality, variety, diversity
We had a clear goal ahead of us. We wanted to build a collection of illustrations that would have a modern style, be easy to use, support diversity, and can be easily edited to fit brand colors.
As a result, we are launching with more than 15,000+ illustrations of superb quality. And the collection keeps growing every day!
Match your brand colors
While having interviews with the early illustration users, one thing became clear very early:
People need to be able to adjust illustrations to match their brand color palette.
We paid attention to that feedback and built a super simple editing feature that allows you to change any color in seconds.
We’ll continue to perfect the editor. Soon we’ll add a feature allowing you to save your brand colors, so you can always have them handy when editing the illustrations.
